01Using this website
Use the site lawfully. Don’t interfere with other people’s use of it, try to get unauthorised access, tamper with how it works or upload malicious code.
02Orders and pricing
- Where you buy: through our Shopify-powered shop, from stores and distributors, or through our crowdfunding campaigns. Each platform’s own terms also apply.
- Prices: in our shop, in Australian dollars including GST for Australian customers. Shipping is shown separately at checkout unless we say otherwise.
- International orders: you pay any import duties, taxes or customs fees charged in your country.
- Availability: products depend on stock. We may change or discontinue items that haven’t been ordered yet.
- Cancellations: we only cancel an order if stock runs out, there’s an obvious pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraud. We’ll tell you and refund you in full.
- Your details: please make sure your order and shipping details are correct.
03Shipping and delivery
Delivery times are estimates. We’re not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs or events outside our control. If an order is delayed or lost because of an incorrect address, you pay the cost of sending it again.
04Faulty items, returns and refunds
Our products come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded. For a major failure you can choose a replacement or refund, plus compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss. If a problem isn’t a major failure, you’re entitled to a repair or replacement.
If an item is faulty, damaged or wrong, email info@gametribedesign.com with your order number, what’s wrong and photos if you can. Please tell us promptly, though your rights aren’t limited to a set time.
We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
05Crowdfunding pledges
Pledges to our crowdfunding campaigns, on Kickstarter, Gamefound or other platforms, are governed by that platform’s terms and the refund and cancellation policy on the campaign page. We give delivery estimates in good faith, but crowdfunded projects can be delayed. We keep backers informed through campaign updates.
06Digital content
Digital stories, rulebooks, print files, the Nataterra token tray 3D file and our Tabletop Simulator module are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You’re welcome to print the token tray for your own copy of the game. Please don’t sell, redistribute or publicly share these files without our written permission.
07Game Tribe design platform
Game Tribe Studio is in early access. Separate Studio terms will apply when you create an account, covering your account, the files you upload, plans and billing. You keep ownership of everything you design and upload.
08Events and tournaments
Each event has its own entry terms on its event page, covering tickets, refunds, prizes and conduct. Registering means you accept them.
09Feedback and community content
Keep anything you share with us or post in our community spaces lawful and respectful: no abuse, defamation, discrimination, spam or infringing material. If you send us feedback, survey answers or ideas, we may use them to improve our games freely, without credit or payment.
10Emails and newsletter
We only send marketing emails to people who signed up, and only for the lists they chose. Every email identifies us and includes a way to unsubscribe. Emails about your orders, events or Studio account are not marketing and will still be sent.
11Intellectual property
Everything on this site belongs to Game Tribe or our licensors, including the Nataterra and Afterfall names, game designs, rules, stories, characters, artwork, text, logos and graphics. Don’t copy it or use it commercially without written permission. You’re welcome to share links and post photos and videos of your own games on social media.
12Privacy
We handle personal information as described in Your privacy matters, linked at the bottom of every page. We never sell it.
13Other websites
We aren’t responsible for other sites and services we link to, including our shop platform, crowdfunding platforms, Nataterra Tactics, BoardGameGeek, Google, Steam, Discord and social media, or for their terms and privacy practices. Nataterra Tactics has its own terms and privacy policy.
14Limitation of liability
We can’t promise the site will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where our liability can be limited, it’s limited to supplying, repairing or replacing the goods again, or refunding what you paid. None of this limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version and its date will always be on this page. Changes don’t affect orders you’ve already placed.
16General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest still applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
